Linking to HSBC

You’ll need the HSBC UK mobile app on your phone

Step A

Click on the Go to my bank button to launch your HSBC UK mobile app. 

• Log in using either your online banking login password or your fingerprint

• Select the current account you would like to spend from and click Finish
  ⚠️Credit cards and savings accounts cannot be linked ⚠️

You’ll be automatically redirected back to the Miles & More Debit Card app.

Step B

On the Last step screen, click on the Go to my bank to confirm button to launch your HSBC UK mobile app and set up your direct debit. 

• Log in again using either your online banking login password or your fingerprint

• Click on Consent to funds availability check

You’ll be redirected back to the Miles & More Debit Card app to choose your PIN.

3.5 Linking to Halifax

You’ll need the Halifax mobile app on your phone

Step A

Click on the Go to my bank button to launch your Halifax mobile app. 

• Sign in using fingerprint/facial recognition/sign in details

• On the Account Sharing page choose the account you want to connect to. Scroll down and click Continue
  ⚠️Credit cards and savings accounts cannot be linked ⚠️

You’ll be automatically redirected back to the Miles & More Debit Card app.

Step B

On the Last step screen, click on the Go to my bank to confirm button to launch your Halifax mobile app and set up your direct debit. 

• Sign in using fingerprint/facial recognition/sign in detail

• The account you chose in the previous step will show on the Confirm Funds Check page. Scroll down and click Confirm

You’ll be redirected back to the Miles & More Debit Card app to choose your PIN.
